Subject: [Internal Memo] Remaining Agile During an Authoritarian Regime
Dear Shareholders,
As we adjust to the rapidly changing macroeconomic environment, I wanted to relay the Board’s strong confidence regarding the next four years, and indeed, the far foreseeable future. While it’s clear the operational conditions are beginning to shift, our ability to remain agile is central to our Founding Principles which, as so established, helps protect our core mission regardless of who may control the government.
As stated in those Principles, we believe that Relationships Matter, and so we have started the process through which to lobby the incoming administration regarding critical business interests essential for our continued and exponential success. This approach is the best approach — not only for our company and its shareholders, but for our customers and the broader global community. By aligning our values with the predominant emerging ideology, we can pre-position ourselves for maximum profit during an otherwise turbulent time. Proactive alignment will greatly benefit forward-thinking employees, the true innovators, who are ready and willing to drive core business functions.
The fundamentals of our company remain strong. In October, it was announced that W Corp. would operate MovieViral.com in a joint partnership agreement with Sometimes Weekly. Additionally, W Corp. assumed control of Fairly Unbalanced and will maintain control over subsidonym brands including SpaceW; Twain (formerly Twain Motor Company); Warstool; The Ho-Hum Company; and OpenW.
On a personal note, I must relay that I’m heartened by the incoming administration’s cabinet appointments: it’s the clearest signal yet of the incredible opportunity laying before us.
Our analysis is clear: Never before has there been a greater opportunity to maximize profits and minimize inefficiency. We are prepared, and we will meet the moment. I’m excited to take this journey with each of you.
I look forward to our all company call later this week. I will be addressing the recent restructuring and redundancy correction, which has impacted several teams, as well as the necessary changes to benefits and leave time. I hope all employees consider this singular opportunity carefully and, accordingly, approach the conversation from a place of deep gratitude and respect.
As always, I look forward to an Open and Honest dialogue.
Thx,
V
